This Is Why HopeLinx Exists

Recovery Housing Management Software has always been missing the heart and efficiency residents need—but that’s why I built HopeLinx.
Hi, I’m David Allmon. I’ve been in recovery for over 10 years, and I’ve lived and breathed every side of recovery housing—from resident to staff, manager to software creator. My path to HopeLinx wasn’t just professional—it was personal, painful, and full of purpose.
Living It, Feeling the Brokenness
I’ve lived in recovery houses myself, worked them front‑line, managed them, and watched the cracks widen. I saw how unorganized systems, piles of paper, and endless admin destroyed the connection between staff and residents—making it nearly impossible to truly help people.
At one point, I was so buried in admin work that I didn’t have time to sit and talk with the residents—people trying so hard to rebuild their lives. One of them relapsed, overdosed, and died. I still carry that heartbreak with me, and it fuels my determination every day.
From Case Manager to Builder
Driving systems forward felt logical when I accepted a case management role. That’s when I saw healing in organization—software actually helping me keep track of treatment plans, progress notes, and resident needs. But I wondered: why doesn’t recovery housing have this kind of tool? Why am I re‑inventing the wheel in every place I work?
Recovery Housing Management Software – A Personal Journey
By day, I worked full‑time in recovery services supporting individuals—by night, I ran a web design and development business. For nearly a year, balancing a full‑time job, raising a family, and building what would become HopeLinx, I poured every skill and every lesson into this platform.
I sat with families after overdoses. I saw staff burn out. I felt the sorrow of missed opportunities. Those stories, that grief, that unfulfilled potential—they needed something better. And I had the tools to build it.
Why Recovery Housing Management Software Matters
Because recovery housing deserves to be run with heart and efficiency. Because staff deserve systems that support them—not bury them. Because residents deserve to be seen and supported, not overlooked in paperwork. Because a death should never have to remind us why management needs to be better. What I Promise You
HopeLinx isn’t another software suite. It’s a product of ten years in recovery, of family dinners interrupted by building the platform, of heartbreak that became action. It is built so that houses run smoother, staff stay engaged, and residents get the care they deserve.

Thank you for trusting this mission and believing in what a human‑centered tool can do. I built it because I’ve been in the middle of the chaos—and because I’m committed to making recovery housing better. For you, for them, and for all of us.
