Build a template for each shift with the fields you actually want: short and long text, numbers, dates and times, dropdowns, radio buttons and checkboxes, with headers to break it into sections. Mark the questions that can't be skipped. Staff pick the template, set the shift date, and save a draft or submit.

Turn on intake and discharge tracking and the report pulls in who moved in, moved out or was discharged during the shift, so nobody has to remember. When a report is submitted, the people you choose get an email summary, and reviewers can add dated notes to it afterward.

Assign a template to the employees who work that shift, pick the days, and turn on reminders. Each person gets an email a set number of minutes before their shift ends, 10 by default, and anyone who already submitted is skipped. At 9 a.m., anyone with a missing report gets one email listing what's overdue from the past week.

Start a round, pick a house, and HopeLinx lays out every room and bed with the resident in it. Mark each person Present, Absent, Violation or Unknown, add a note where it matters, and complete the round. You can save partway through and pick it back up.

Each round records who ran it and when it started and finished. Completed rounds are locked and download as a PDF with every bed's status and notes.

Add chores for each house, label them daily, weekly, biweekly or monthly, and attach each one to a bed or to the house as a whole. Staff mark chores Completed, Partial or Not Completed during a round or in the Chore Tracker, and Chore History shows how it's gone.

For a NARR or state certification visit, the point is being able to show your work. Shift reports filter by house, staff member and month, every round has its own PDF, and chore history is kept.
